Helping you embark upon and enjoy your musical journey

I’m able to offer group lessons, though individual lessons are far more popular, and I feel they’re a better option for most learners. If you can’t visit my studio, I can possibly to come to you. Prior notice will be required, so be sure to let me know well in advance. My aim is to help you to learn to play the instrument of your choice, whilst hopefully showing you that it’s not quite as difficult as you’d first imagined!

All ages and abilities are welcome, and I tailor each lesson to your skill level and experience. You can make as much noise as you like in my home studio! Perfect for first timers and experienced musicians alike. If there’s anything I haven’t covered, please let me know.

Alfresco Lessons

Weather permitting I enjoy giving lessons outside, with only sheep, cows or horses to hear us – it’s always popular with my students!

Online Lessons

During 2020 lockdown skype lessons have been of great benefit to me and my students. An extremely useful mechanism that continues to be so for students who can’t always make it to my studio and those that live further afield.

Fees and Missed Lessons/Cancellations

  • Lessons are normally on a weekly basis and I generally work to the school term timetable, asking for fees to be paid by the half term on or before the first week. 
  • All fees paid should be considered non-refundable and not eligible to be carried forward to the next half term. 
  • I always try to help reschedule/makeup time for lessons that are missed at reasonable notice but cannot promise to be able to do so.
